SNOWDOMEThe dome is the largest freestanding transparent structure in the world with no supporting columns, and it will reach a diameter of 200+M and a height of 70+M.
In 2003, this most unusual, daring and creative project was conceptualized and is now being developed to be operational by 2008. A number of Iodging facilities surrounding the dome - architecturally all integrated within the entire concept of winter experience comprising of a four star hotel, four star serviced apartments and Iuxury residences. A cable lift taking you at the top of the highest mountain, a rotating ski deck with training area, a mountain run, most exciting snow play area, toboggan run, ice skating rink, ice skating adventure area, ice rink sports area, a flying theatre featuring a virtual flight... Two 32-storey towers of four star hotel/apartment/suites are flanking the entrance of the dome and covering one side of the dome is a rising crescent of "Iceberg Residences", a complex of residential units with an entire "Snowdome-winter" themed architectural appearance. The iceberg apartments comprise nine apartment blocks arranged on a crescent situated between the Dome and the sites West and South boundaries. The apartments are of differing height ranging from G+6 to G+13 plus penthouse levels. A rising cresent of residential buildings are surrounding the snowdome.
