VFB ADMIRA WACKER MOEDLING
32Group, has acquired the VfB Admira Wacker Moedling in December 2004. The club has actually a very old history and its existence dates back to 1905. Admira has one of the best football academies in Europe. After all the academies are the future of football!
Latest news: A positive future has been secured
for VfB Admira Wacker.
- The last few months were a period of work and dedication. With combined efforts, the VFB Admira Wacker has been profoundly restructured.
- The long awaited project of one football club for Nieder-Oesterreich is near to completion.
- Actually SK Schwadorf and VFB Admira Wacker have been entering into a fusion and is thus becoming one club called: VFB Trenkwalder Admira Wacker.
- The new club actually has 2 teams: one team in the Red Zac league and one team in the Regional League East.
- Admira’s youth academy – one of the best in Austria – is of course also included within the new project.
- The summer season can now start with full optimism and huge energy for all!
In the last 3 years, 46 players - between 18 and 21 years old - from the VfB Admira Academy have made it to the T-Mobile League, Red Zac League and Regional League.
As to what is happening now in the Suedstadt? A lot of preparations and training is going on and let us not forget UEFA 2008!
The Italian team – the “Worldchampions” - has chosen the Suedstadt as its training grounds!
